One Bowl Granola

Hi Sav here! For a large part of my life I have always had a passion for baking. About two years ago I started my own blog where I would post my own recipes. I particularly love baking cookies, which I will blog about in the next coming weeks. About a year ago, I started experimenting with granola. I have tested plenty of recipes, some with almond butter, some without seeds, and other with only nuts. This granola is the best out of the many I tried. Tasted and approved my many fellow friends and family members. Among the oats are raw cashews, raw pecans, shaved almonds, raw pumpkin seeds, quinoa, and coconut flakes. Many other granolas have unnecessary additives like canola oil, processed sugars, and other fillers that are unneeded. This granola is made with organic coconut oil and unfiltered maple syrup. You can read all the ingredients and it is also easy to make. All you need is one bowl, hearty ingredients, and sheet pan. The aroma of the cinnamon and the maple syrup will make any house feel like a home. The ultimate comfort food. I hope you all enjoy as much as I do.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of old fashion oats

  • ¾ cup of coconut oil

  • ½ cup maple syrup

  • 1-tablespoon cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup sliced almonds

  • ½ cup raw pecans

  • ½ cup of raw cashews

  • ¼ cup of pumpkin seeds (without the shell)

  • ¼ cup of white quinoa

  • ¼ cup of coconut flakes

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 275 degrees and mix your oats, coconut oil, and maple syrup in a large bowl. Stir together until the oats are wet. Then sprinkle in your salt and cinnamon. (You can add other ingredients like pumpkin spice or nutmeg) Add your nuts, quinoa, coconut flakes, and mix until combined. When you have everything combined lay your granola and spread flat on a baking sheet. Put in the oven and put your timer on for one hour. I believe that this granola tastes best when you bake it low and slow. 30 minutes through take out the granola and stir the granola. Put the granola back into the oven and let it cook for the next 30 minutes. This will make the oats crispy and crunchy.
